FIRE FIGHTING

FIRE FIGHTING

HOW TO DO FIRE INTERVENTION?

Burning is a chemical process that occurs when material is exposed to heat and oxygen. In order fire to be realize, heat, oxygen and material must be present.

TYPES OF FIRE:

Class-A Fire: Solid material fire. Can be extinguished by cooling and removal of flammable material.

Class-B Fire: Flammable liquids can be classified in this category. Can be extinguished by cooling (vaporized water) and cutting the oxygen intervention by CO2, foam and dry chemical dust.

Class-C Fire: Caused by the inflammation of various flammable gases such as liquid petroleum gas, air gauge, hydrogen. Can be extinguished by using dry chemical dust, halon, 1301 and halon 1211. We can classify the inflammation of electrical devices and sensitive devices into this category.

Class-D Fire: Fires that are caused by burning of inflammable light metals and alloys (such as Magnesium, Lithium,Natrium, Serium). Dry chemical dusts are used to extinguish these kind of fires. We can evaluate the fires caused by burning of electrical equipment in class-C without including in a different category. The electric current must be interrupted and dry chemical dusts should be used.

FIRE INTERVENTION

In order to conduct a efficient intervention, the training, discipline and the location of the team are very important to be ready, as firefighting equipment and materials are.

  • Communication System
  • Receiving the news of fire and announcing this to personnel
  • Team should know the acting ways
  • Topics that needs attention in fire place
  • Topics that needs attention while intervention
  • Gathering the equipment and materials and return to the group

Sigma 2 Type 2 set is a easy and reliable 2-level pneumatic system. Positive pressured valve activated by first breath provides low breath resistance and excellent performance, especially in high flow rates. First level pressure lowering valve has only two mobile parts, accepting 300 bars of cylinder pressures without any adjustment. Easy-demontable bronze valve is used in cylinder (tube) connection apparatus. Has 55 bars early warn whistle and shoulder-mounted pressure indicator.

  • •Bypass, compact demand valve activated by first breathe.
  • •Ergonomically designed, light backplated belt.
  • •Wowen with fire retardant yarn combined with kevlar and cylinder (tube) bands are made of completely kevlar yarns.
  • •Backplate is anti-static, made of polyamide composite material as carbon-molded.
  • •Buckles and connection parts are injection products made of corrosion-resistant polyamide material.
  • •Can be used with Vision 3, Promask PP or Panaseal complete face masks.
  • •Compact servo-assisted positive pressured demand valve and sensitive diaphragm included.
  • •Pressure evacuation valve with spring piston mechanism.
  • •An ideal solution for marine, industrial and fireworks.
  • •Low-cost maintenance and service opportunity for user.
